British Airways flight delayed after passenger arrest at Heathrow

A 31-year-old man was arrested and charged following a disruptive incident on a British Airways flight from London Heathrow to Las Vegas. The incident occurred on August 6 during flight BA275, when the passenger reportedly became aggressive, ignored crew instructions, and was suspected of being intoxicated.

After the crew requested assistance, the aircraft returned to the terminal to allow Metropolitan Police officers to board and escort the man from the plane. The passenger faces charges for being drunk on an aircraft and disobeying the orders of the captain. The disruption caused a significant delay, with the flight departing several hours behind its original schedule.

A video of the altercation captured by a passenger went viral on social media. The footage features a flight attendant commanding the man to ‘stay seated’ and ‘sit down.’ The recording was subsequently sampled by the musician and DJ Bou, who turned the audio into a dance track and invited the flight attendant to perform with him during a gig in Las Vegas.
