British Airways resumes Tel Aviv service and extends Bengaluru flights

British Airways is reintroducing its flight service between London Heathrow and Tel Aviv following an eight-month suspension caused by the Middle East conflict. The airline will begin once-daily operations on Sunday, October 25, for the autumn and winter seasons.

This return follows increased capacity from Wizz Air and continued operations by Israeli carriers El Al, Arkia, and Israir. Israel’s ministry of tourism noted that UK visitors to Israel grew by nearly 20% this summer compared to last year, despite a general decline in international arrivals since the conflict began in February.

Separately, British Airways has confirmed it will maintain twice-daily flights between Bengaluru and London Heathrow through summer 2027. The expanded schedule, which includes 14 services per week using Boeing 787 aircraft, aims to support business and leisure travel while providing connections to North American destinations.
