British clubs set for European football action

Several British clubs are scheduled to compete in European football this Thursday. Crystal Palace and Sunderland are set for early kick-offs, with Palace traveling to face Lyon and Sunderland visiting Torreense in Portugal.

Later in the evening, Bournemouth, Celtic, Brighton, and Hearts will begin their respective matches. Brighton and Hearts are participating in the Conference League, while the others compete in the Europa League.

Team news indicates several roster changes and injury updates. Crystal Palace will be without Jean-Philippe Mateta, while Bournemouth expects the return of Justin Kluivert and Amine Adli. Brighton manager Fabian Hurzeler indicated potential rotation to manage player energy, noting that while Pascal Struijk's red card was overturned, his fitness remains a consideration. Sunderland will assess the availability of Meunier and Isidor, with Brobbey and Diarra traveling for the match.
