The Great Canadian Bash will take place at Starlight Stadium in Langford on Saturday, June 27, 2026. The all‑ages concert features headliners Our Lady Peace, The Tea Party and Cold Fame, with supporting acts including Darrian Gerard. The event includes a pre‑concert cookout, food trucks and charity fundraisers supporting the ReWired Recovery Foundation and the South Island Primary Care Society.

The Fraser Valley Music Awards announced nominations for its July 16 ceremony in Abbotsford. More than $10,000 in prize money will be awarded, with nominees from across the region, including five artists from Chilliwack. The awards aim to celebrate and support local musicians, with a fan‑vote component that distributes the prize pool proportionately.

Both events highlight the vibrant music scene in British Columbia, offering performance opportunities for national acts and recognition for regional artists.
