British Columbia hotels recognized in Condé Nast Traveller awards

British Columbia accommodations have received significant recognition in the Condé Nast Traveller 2026 Readers’ Choice Awards. Two hotels located in Victoria, Oak Bay Beach Hotel and Magnolia Hotel & Spa, were named among the top 10 best hotels in Canada, ranking third and seventh respectively. Additionally, Victoria was named the world’s best small city in the awards. British Columbia hotels also showed strong performance in the Western Canada category, accounting for 13 of the top 15 locations.

In Banff National Park, accommodation options are concentrated within the Town of Banff due to strict development regulations. Notable lodging includes the Fairmont Banff Springs for luxury, the Moose Hotel & Suites for air conditioning, and historic options like the Castle Mountain Chalets, which has operated for over 81 years. Other popular areas for visitors include Lake Louise and the Bow Valley Parkway.
