British Columbia launches summer music series and charity concert

CedarCreek Estate Winery in the Okanagan Valley reopened its annual Summer Song Series on June 24, featuring local vocalist Patrick Gavigan. The opening night sold out, offering guests a complimentary glass of wine, seasonal food, and live performances amid vineyard views.

In Courtenay, the High Tide Public House will host the Waxin’ Melodic: Under a Full Moon in June concert on June 27. The event showcases award‑winning singer‑songwriters Sean Hogan, Sue Medley and Christy Vanden, with tickets priced at $25. Proceeds benefit the Cat Advocates Teaching & Saving Society, a charity supporting stray and feral cats.
