British humanitarian car show 'A Driving Force' attracts crowds in Sarajevo

An exhibition of about 50 luxury and sports cars was staged on Vilson’s Promenade in Novo Sarajevo on the evening of 19 – 21 UTC. The display, organized with the support of the British Embassy in Sarajevo and the Municipality of Novo Sarajevo, featured models from Aston Martin, McLaren, Jaguar, Lotus, TVR, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche, BMW and others.

The event is part of the biennial "A Driving Force" humanitarian drive that travels through ten European countries from 1 to 11 August. UK Armed Forces veterans and civilians participate to raise funds for SSAFA, a British charity that assists soldiers, veterans and their families. This is the second visit of the drive to Bosnia and Herzegovina, following a 2018 stop in Sarajevo and Mostar, and it aims to promote international cooperation and charitable support while showcasing the UK automotive sector.
