British prospect Moses Itauma set to face Croatia's Filip Hrgovic in London heavyweight bout

Unbeaten 21‑year‑old British heavyweight Moses Itauma will meet experienced Croatian contender Filip Hrgovic on 29 August at London’s O2 Arena. The fight, announced for the O2’s main event, is described as Itauma’s biggest test after a 14‑0 record (12 knockouts) that includes a dominant victory over Jermaine Franklin in March.

Hrgovic (20‑1, 15 KOs) entered the bout after a recent win over Dave Allen and a sole defeat to Daniel Dubois in June 2024. He said he is ready to fight “anyone in the division, Moses, anyone,” emphasizing his health and willingness to face the British prospect.
