British Royal Family Turmoil: Prince Andrew Eyes Gulf Relocation as Prince William Targets Cousins

Prince Andrew, the former Duke of York, has been stripped of his royal titles and, according to sources, is preparing to leave the United Kingdom for the Gulf region. He believes the Gulf offers a chance to regain respect and make use of his long‑standing business connections, saying he feels “every door has effectively been closed” in Britain.

At the same time, Prince William is reported to be formulating a plan to trim the royal household by cutting benefits for non‑working royals. The plan allegedly targets the two daughters of Prince Andrew, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, with the aim of ending their free rent in royal residences and reducing the number of senior family members who receive public funding.

Both developments were reported after the cousins attended the wedding of their relative Peter Phillips. The internal reshuffling reflects ongoing attempts to modernise the monarchy and manage the fallout from recent controversies surrounding Prince Andrew.
