British sport organisations deepen community sponsorships

York‑based commercial interiors specialist Ben Johnson Interiors has become the official shirt sponsor of Ben Johnson Cricket Club and Haxby Town Under‑7s football team, supplying new kits for the 2026/27 season. The firm, which traces its origins to an 1855 printing business, supports a cricket club founded by its employees in 1957 that now competes in Division Four of the Yorkshire Premier League North. Ben Johnson Interiors reported revenue of more than £7 million for the nine months to December 2025.

The Rugby Football League and Community Integrated Care have announced a long‑term extension of their Official Social Care Partnership, marking a decade of collaborative programmes such as the Learning Disability Super League and inclusive volunteering opportunities. The renewed deal will be celebrated at Headingley Stadium on 31 July during an Inclusion Round between Leeds Rhinos and Toulouse Olympique, and an independent assessment found the partnership generates £12.43 of social value for every £1 invested.
