Persephone and Britt Baker form new AEW alliance

AEW TBS Champion Persephone has formed an unexpected alliance with Britt Baker following Persephone’s title victory at All In London. The two have appeared together on AEW television, including a recent trios match alongside Hikaru Shida.

Speaking with The Sportster, Persephone described the partnership as “testing the waters,” noting that both women possess strong attitudes and significant egos. She suggested the alliance could either become highly successful or eventually lead to a clash between the two individual talents.

In addition to the new partnership, recent AEW programming has focused on supporting former wrestler Rebel following her ALS diagnosis. Both Britt Baker and Mercedes Moné have expressed public support for Rebel, with Baker sharing emotional moments with her during a recent episode of Dynamite.
