Brittany Boltinhouse stripped of Miss North Carolina USA title

Brittany Boltinhouse, the 27-year-old winner of the Miss North Carolina USA 2026 title, has been stripped of her crown following the discovery of past social media posts containing a racial slur. Boltinhouse, who won the title in July and was scheduled to compete nationally, stated in an interview that she does not regret her past actions and has no intention of apologizing for the posts.

Boltinhous claims her removal was not due to the racist content, but rather her political and religious views. Describing herself as a ‘proud and God-fearing conservative’, she intends to challenge the decision in court, alleging that her rights were violated. Her attorney, Patrick Mincey, stated that they possess audio recordings which he claims will prove the destitution was motivated by her political opinions rather than the decade-old posts.
