Brittany Cartwright granted protective order against Jax Taylor

Brittany Cartwright has been granted a protective order against her estranged husband, Jax Taylor, amid their ongoing divorce. The legal filing includes allegations of physical assault and death threats. Cartwright alleged that Taylor threatened to “gut [her] like a f–king fish” and “f–king kill” her, and claimed he previously threw a table at her, causing injury.

Jax Taylor’s legal team has issued a response, with attorney Mark Vincent Kaplan stating that Taylor “categorically disputes” the claims and has a “very different story” to present to the court. Kaplan argued that Cartwright is attempting to “weaponize the internet” against Taylor, potentially damaging his professional reputation and financial stability. The defense also questioned the timing of the allegations, noting that some cited incidents occurred over two years ago and had not previously resulted in police reports or criminal charges.
