Brittany culinary scene sees local restaurant transitions

Local culinary establishments in Brittany are seeing changes in ownership and service models. In Le Croisic, the crêperie Tante Germaine remains a traditional fixture, offering a Breton atmosphere and family-oriented dining at 31 Rue de l’Église.

In Plufur, Côtes-d’Armor, a transition is occurring at La Galetterie. Former owner Arnaud Cotonnec has handed over the establishment to Aurélie Jutard. Jutard, who previously operated a home meal delivery service, will transform the location into a restaurant named Miam Miam. The new venue will offer slow-cooked meals available for dine-in or takeout, operating midday Monday through Saturday and evenings on Fridays and Saturdays. Cotonnec plans to launch a mobile food unit serving crepes and pizzas on weekends once a location is secured.
