Brittany Snow joins cast of 'The Housemaid's Secret' sequel

Actress Brittany Snow has been added to the ensemble of "The Housemaid's Secret," the upcoming sequel to the 2025 psychological thriller "The Housemaid." Snow will portray Marybeth, an unassuming receptionist who becomes entangled in the film's central mystery.

The sequel continues the story of Sydney Sweeney's character Millie Calloway, a live‑in maid who takes a new job for a woman she is forbidden to see. Returning cast members include Sweeney, Kirsten Dunst, Paul Anthony Kelly, and Michele Morrone, with director Paul Feig and screenwriter Rebecca Sonnenshine also back on the project. The film is based on Freida McFadden’s bestselling novel and is being produced by Lionsgate with Todd Lieberman, Laura Fischer and other executives.

"The Housemaid's Secret" is slated for a worldwide theatrical release on 17 December 2027. The original film grossed roughly $400 million globally against a $35 million budget, prompting Lionsgate to develop a franchise around the series.
