Actress Brittany Snow has marked 17 years of recovery from an eating disorder. In a social media post, the 40-year-old shared that she reached this milestone on September 17, describing the period as a “golden anniversary.”

Snow reflected on her past struggles with anorexia, exercise bulimia, depression, and self-harm, noting that at the time of her decision to seek help in 2009, she “couldn’t see a future” or imagine a life where she could be kind to herself. She credited her family and friends for their support during her recovery process.

In her message, Snow offered encouragement to others facing mental health challenges, stating that “there is life beyond the place you are in today, even if you can’t picture it yet.”
