The documentary also touches upon the economic realities facing WNBA players, noting that many must play abroad to supplement their income due to significant pay disparities compared to the NBA.

Separately, reports have surfaced regarding Griner’s personal life and legal obligations following her 2022 release. These include child support and custody arrangements involving children from two different relationships: twin daughters with former spouse Glory Johnson and a son with Cherelle Griner.
