Brivio to dedicate library hall to artist Rolando Persi

The municipality of Brivio will hold a ceremony on September 5 to dedicate the library's multi-purpose hall to the late artist and art professor Rolando Persi. Persi, who moved to Brivio in 1956 and passed away in 2008, was a prominent figure in the local community known for his nature-inspired paintings and his work as a teacher in various Milanese institutes.

Mayor Federico Airoldi noted that the dedication aims to honor Persi's deep impact on the community and his lifelong commitment to human connection through art. Persi had previously been granted honorary citizenship in 2003.
