BRK Syariah and BPJS Ketenagakerjaan report developments in Riau

PT Bank Riau Kepri Syariah (BRK Syariah) has proposed several candidates for its Board of Commissioners and Board of Directors following an Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders on September 28, 2026. The proposed candidates, including Helwin Yunus for President Director and Indra for President Commissioner, must now undergo a ‘Fit and Proper Test’ by the Financial Services Authority (OJK) before their appointments are finalized.

In a separate development in Riau, BPJS Ketenagakerjaan has successfully recovered Rp2.07 billion in unpaid company contributions throughout 2026. This recovery was achieved through a collaboration with the Riau High Prosecutor's Office (Kejati Riau) using a Special Power of Attorney mechanism. The initiative aims to ensure employer compliance and guarantee social security protection for workers in the region.
