Brčko District opens 12th Summer Police School

The 12th Summer Police School has opened in Brčko District, Bosnia and Herzegovina. This year, the program has gathered 84 young participants with a central theme focused on ‘Youth in the Digital Environment.’

Goran Pisić, Head of the Brčko District Police, emphasized that the initiative aims to focus on prevention rather than just reacting to escalated problems. The curriculum addresses risks within digital spaces, including fraud, theft, hate speech, and recruitment for extremist activities.

Brčko District Mayor Siniša Milić noted that the program is a unique project in Bosnia and Herzegovina, contributing to the region's political and security stability. He highlighted that the police have played a crucial role in responding to incidents promptly to prevent uncontrolled public reactions.
