Brčko Education Department spends over 7 million KM on school and kindergarten projects

The Education Department of the Brčko Government has allocated more than 7 million convertible marks (KM) from the capital budget to a series of infrastructure projects. Two new kindergarten facilities – one in Broduši and another in the EŠ settlement – each cost about 1.9 million KM and will increase capacity for roughly 200 children once operational. Additional investments include playgrounds at Treća osnovna and Centralna škola Grbavica, a sports hall for the Agricultural and Medical school, the completion of a gymnasium at a local primary school, and several smaller infrastructure works. Department head Senad Osmanović highlighted the rapid spending in 2025 and stressed the aim of providing better conditions for teaching and early‑childcare services.
