Brünig Mega Safe to develop high-security underground caverns in Switzerland

Brünig Mega Safe AG is developing custom underground caverns within the Brünig massif in Lungern, Switzerland. Located more than 100 meters below the surface, these spaces are designed to house art, data, valuables, and industrial goods.

The company operates as a real estate developer, providing building rights registered in the land register and acting as a general contractor to construct caverns according to investor specifications. The project aims to combine high security with efficient land use, offering an alternative to surface-level construction in compliance with spatial planning laws.

The first high-security spaces are expected to be operational by the second quarter of 2027. The company’s business model encompasses three sectors: MONSEC (customizable security caverns), Brünig Lagerhallen (storage halls), and the Brünig Institute.
