Brno and Masaryk University to build clinical school in Nová Zbrojovka

The city of Brno and Masaryk University are collaborating to build a new clinical school in the Nová Zbrojovka district. The facility is designed to serve as a model educational institution, integrating mainstream teaching with pedagogical research and practical training for university students.

The planned school will have a capacity for 810 children across 27 classrooms and is expected to be staffed by approximately 110 employees. The architectural design includes a main school building, a nursery, sports facilities, a protected courtyard, and rooftop terraces. To support inclusive and personalized learning, the facility will feature sensory smart classrooms and a Snoezelen room for emotional regulation.

The project has an estimated cost of 899 million CZK, with teaching operations projected to begin around the 2032/2033 school year. The city is currently working toward obtaining the necessary building permits.
