Brno parking dispute leads to man being struck by vehicle

A dispute over parking at a hospital complex in Brno resulted in a man being struck by a vehicle. The incident has led to conflicting accounts from the two primary parties involved.

Jiří Pikula, the son of the injured man, claims the driver intentionally drove toward his father after a disagreement. He described the driver as driving toward the man’s neck. Conversely, the driver alleges that the man became vulgar and physically assaulted him with a punch after opening the driver-side door. According to the driver, the man jumped onto the hood of the car, causing him to brake abruptly, which resulted in the man falling under the vehicle.

The victim sustained a broken leg and was taken to the hospital. Police are currently reviewing security camera footage from the Brno University Hospital grounds and collecting witness statements to determine the exact sequence of events.
