Broadcom sees AI chip growth as Oak Grove Capital increases Nokia stake
Broadcom is experiencing significant growth driven by its semiconductor solutions segment, particularly through the production of custom application-specific integrated circuits (ASICs) for artificial intelligence tasks. Major technology firms, including Alphabet, Meta Platforms, OpenAI, and Anthropic, have increased their procurement of these custom AI accelerators to reduce reliance on standard GPUs. Broadcom's AI chip sales reached $20 billion in fiscal 2025, accounting for 31% of its total revenue, with projections suggesting these sales could reach $115 billion by fiscal 2027.
In separate news, Oak Grove Capital LLC significantly increased its stake in Nokia Corporation, raising its holdings by 202.9% during the third quarter. The institutional investor now holds 157,500 shares of the technology company, valued at approximately $1,597,000. Other institutional investors, including J2 Capital Management Inc and Syon Capital LLC, have also recently adjusted their positions in Nokia.
