Broadcom projects AI semiconductor revenue to reach $230 billion by 2028
Broadcom is projecting significant growth in its AI semiconductor revenue, driven by the development of custom AI chips for hyperscalers. CEO Hock Tan indicated that the company has secured the supply necessary to meet high demand.
According to recent guidance, Broadcom expects its AI revenue to reach approximately $115 billion in 2027. The company further projects that AI semiconductor revenue could double again to $230 billion by fiscal 2028. Broadcom is currently partnering with several major firms, including Alphabet, Meta Platforms, OpenAI, and Anthropic, to create chips optimized for specific workloads.
