Broadway theater announces upcoming season and ticket discounts

New York City's Broadway theater scene is preparing for a diverse upcoming season and a period of ticket discounts.

NYC Broadway Week is scheduled to run from September 8 through September 20, offering 2-for-1 ticket deals for 25 different productions. Participating shows include major titles such as ‘The Lion King’, ‘Wicked’, ‘MJ The Musical’, and ‘Aladdin’.

Looking ahead to the next Broadway season, several highly anticipated productions are slated to debut. Raúl Esparza is set to return to the stage in ‘Galileo’, with previews beginning November 10 and an opening night on December 6. Additionally, a reworked version of ‘The Fantasticks’ is expected to make its debut in October, and ‘Paddington The Musical’ is scheduled to arrive on Broadway next spring following its success in London’s West End.
