Brock Badgers to face Guelph Gryphons in Steel Blade Classic

The Brock Badgers men’s hockey team is scheduled to face the Guelph Gryphons on Friday, Sept. 18, at the Meridian Centre for the annual Steel Blade Classic. This traditional matchup features a unique trophy donated by the Werener family, modeled after a sword carried by artillery units during the War of 1812.

Brock has won the Steel Blade 13 times, but they are looking to reclaim the trophy after losing the last two matchups to Guelph. While the game result will not impact regular season standings, it remains a significant event in the university hockey schedule.
