Brock Bowers doubtful for Raiders' game against Chargers

Las Vegas Raiders star tight end Brock Bowers is listed as doubtful for Sunday’s game against the Los Angeles Chargers due to a knee injury. Bowers recently underwent a meniscus trim procedure on his left knee, which caused him to miss the team’s Week 1 victory over the Miami Dolphins.

Head coach Klint Kubiak stated that Bowers will be a game-day decision and the team will evaluate him during pregame warmups. While his status for the Chargers game remains uncertain, Kubiak expressed optimism that Bowers could return for the following game against New Orleans on September 27.

In Bowers' absence, Michael Mayer is expected to take on a larger role at the tight end position. Other roster updates include cornerback Darien Porter being ruled out due to a foot injury and quarterback Aidan O’Connell being unavailable due to a family matter.
