Brodarica Local Committee confirms preservation of fafarikula tree line

The Brodarica Local Committee has addressed rumors regarding the potential removal of the fafarikula tree line on Denis Špika Street and Put Dikla. The committee clarified that the trees will not be removed for the construction of a two-lane road.

Following a meeting with Mayor Šim Erlić and city administration officials, the committee received confirmation that all fafarikula trees must be preserved. The planned reconstruction aims to improve safety for pedestrians and cyclists rather than removing greenery. The project includes the construction of a sidewalk and a bicycle path located behind the tree line, and the plan also incorporates the planting of new trees.
