Brodie Chapman signs with Liv AlUla Jayco and announces pregnancy

Australian professional cyclist Brodie Chapman has announced both a transfer to the Liv AlUla Jayco team and her pregnancy. The 35-year-old, currently riding for UAE Team ADQ, has signed a two-season contract with the Australian-based WorldTour team that will run through the end of 2028.

Chapman expects her first child in April 2027. The contract is designed to provide her with the necessary space to manage her pregnancy and recovery while maintaining her professional ambitions. She intends to return to racing later in the 2027 season, with a long-term goal of competing in the individual time trial at the 2028 Los Angeles Olympic Games.

A former Australian road and time trial champion, Chapman also brings significant international experience, having been part of the Australian team that won the Mixed Team Relay world championships in 2024 and 2025.
