Bronisze wholesale market sees shifting produce prices and supply trends

The Bronisze wholesale market is experiencing varied price fluctuations across different produce categories. Summer apple varieties, such as Piros, Celeste, and Paulared, are seeing limited supply, with high-quality fruit priced between 3.50 and 4.00 PLN/kg.

Pepper prices have stabilized at 6–7 PLN/kg for domestic varieties following a recent price correction. This drop was triggered by an unusual influx of imports from Armenia, which were offered at approximately 6 PLN/kg. While the Armenian supply has since disappeared from the market, domestic prices remain lower than the previous 8 PLN/kg peak, which was driven by high EU export demand and reduced local cultivation areas.

In contrast, cauliflower prices have surged to 9–10 PLN per piece due to heat-related crop losses and supply shortages, though stabilization is expected within a week. Meanwhile, greenhouse cucumbers remain significantly cheaper than last year, priced at 2–3 PLN/kg, and raspberry prices have decreased due to increased availability.
