Bronson Reed defends weight loss and professional reinvention

WWE wrestler Bronson Reed has addressed fan criticism regarding his recent weight loss, stating he has no regrets about dropping approximately 50 pounds (23 kilograms). After returning from a biceps injury with a leaner physique, some spectators questioned if the change would diminish his presence as one of the largest performers in the ring.

Reed explained that while he previously focused on increasing his size—reaching a peak of 350 pounds—to become a spectacle, he now aims to showcase a different side of his skill set developed during his time on the independent circuit and in Japan. He believes this reinvention allows him to demonstrate more of his technical abilities.

Beyond his professional career, Reed noted that the weight loss has significantly improved his quality of life. He reported that it has relieved joint pressure and made daily activities, such as playing with his daughter, much easier.
