Bronson Reed explains physical transformation goals
Professional wrestler Bronson Reed has revealed that his recent physical transformation was driven by a desire to improve his in-ring performance rather than purely aesthetic reasons. Speaking on Busted Open Radio, Reed explained that he utilizes lengthy injury layoffs to refine different aspects of his professional career.
Following a torn bicep sustained during a qualifying match for Elimination Chamber in February, Reed focused on body conditioning. His goal was to maintain the intimidating heavyweight stature that earned him the nickname ‘Big Bronson Reed’ while becoming significantly more athletic. Reed noted that he has not been at his current weight since his 20s and believes this improved fitness will allow him to execute wrestling maneuvers that his previous size had prevented him from performing.
Reed previously used a foot injury a few years ago to focus on character development, which eventually led to his involvement with The Vision. He expressed a desire to ‘shock the world’ by presenting a more versatile version of himself upon his return to the ring.
