Bronte pistachio and Qormi bread seek culinary partnership

A culinary collaboration is being established between the Bronte DOP pistachio producers from Sicily and the traditional bakers of Qormi, Malta. The initiative aims to create a ‘tasting twinning’ that combines the world-renowned Bronte pistachio with the historic bread-making traditions of Qormi, a city historically recognized as a center for baking.

Representatives from the Consorzio di Tutela del Pistacchio Verde di Bronte DOP met with Maltese officials to discuss the partnership. The collaboration seeks to promote these regional gastronomic treasures on an international scale, with the pistachio consortium expected to play a key role in upcoming local culinary events.
