Bronwyn Brophy O'Connor appointed CEO of Carl Zeiss Meditec

Carl Zeiss Meditec AG has confirmed that Bronwyn Brophy O’Connor will officially assume the role of CEO on December 1, 2026. Currently serving as the CEO of the Vitrolife Group in Sweden, O’Connor will succeed Andreas Pecher, who has acted as interim CEO since January 1, 2026.

Upon her appointment, O’Connor will also join the Executive Board of Carl Zeiss AG, where she will hold responsibility for the Medical Technology segment. The company’s leadership noted that her international experience in medtech is intended to drive innovation and support the ongoing strategic transformation of the segment.
