Bronx Chamber of Commerce to host 2026 Legislative Summit
The Bronx Chamber of Commerce has announced its 2026 Legislative Summit, titled ‘Bronx Forward: Setting the 2027 Agenda for Bronx Business.’ The event is scheduled for Friday, Oct. 23, at Maestro’s Caterers in the Bronx.
Small business owners in the region are facing significant economic pressures, including rising rent, increasing compliance expenses, and difficulties with hiring and labor costs. The summit aims to connect these business owners with policymakers from Washington, Albany, and City Hall to address these challenges.
Chamber President Lisa Sorin noted that the health of commercial corridors is vital to the stability of residential areas and the overall quality of life for local families. The expanded program will include a congressional fireside chat and a ‘Washington Update’ featuring U.S. Representatives Ritchie Torres and George Latimer, alongside panels focused on the state Senate, Assembly, and City Council.
