Brook Lynn reaches America’s Got Talent quarterfinals

Dutch singer Brook Lynn, born Lynn Buitenhuis, has reached the quarterfinals of America’s Got Talent. Originally from Wilp, near Apeldoorn, the 23-year-old singer gained international attention through social media videos before being invited to audition in Los Angeles.

During the quarterfinals, Lynn performed her original song, ‘Love Your Enemy’. The performance earned her a standing ovation from judges Sofía Vergara and Mel B. Vergara compared the quality of the song to a Bond movie theme, while Simon Cowell praised her decision to perform original material rather than a safer cover version.
