Brooke Smith to visit Buffalo Bill’s House in Perryopolis

Brooke Smith, actress known for her role as Catherine Martin in the 1991 film ‘The Silence of the Lambs’, will appear at Buffalo Bill’s House in Perryopolis this weekend. The Victorian home, built in 1910 on the banks of the Youghiogheny River, served as a filming location for scenes near the end of the movie.

Now operating as a themed vacation rental that offers tours and special events, the house will host Smith from Friday through Sunday. Smith, who was 23 during the production in the Pittsburgh area, has since maintained a career in film and television, including roles in ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ and projects with directors such as Christopher Nolan and Woody Allen.
