Brooke Van Sickle returns to lead Nxled Chameleons in Siklab Series opener

Brooke Van Sickle has returned to the court for the Nxled Chameleons following a recovery from a minor tear in her right shoulder. The injury sidelined the 28-year-old outside hitter during the PVL On Tour and the Invitational Conference.

While recovering, Van Sickle watched Nxled achieve a historic second-place finish in the Invitational Conference, falling to the Thai club Est Cola in the finals. She credited head coach Ettore Guidetti for maintaining team chemistry and supporting her during her absence.

In her return match during the Siklab Series opener at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, Van Sickle led all scorers with 11 points as Nxled defeated the PLDT High Speed Hitters in straight sets: 25-16, 25-20, 25-18.
