Brookgreen Gardens to Host Nights of a Thousand Candles Holiday Event 2026‑27

Brookgreen Gardens in South Carolina will stage its annual "Nights of a Thousand Candles" holiday celebration from November 27, 2026, through January 3, 2027. The event runs on 21 selected evenings, with the gardens illuminated by more than 2,700 hand‑lit candles and millions of lights, live holiday music, seasonal food and beverage options, and a nightly tree lighting in the Arboretum.

Tickets become available on August 3. Prices are $35 for adult members and $15 for children (ages 4‑12); non‑members pay $40 for adults and $20 for children. Purchases are limited to the official Brookgreen Gardens website and its ticketing partner, Leap Event Technology. Visitors may add a "Sparkle & Fun" package that includes a glass of wine or cider and holographic glasses for enhanced visual effects. The garden’s President and CEO, Page Kiniry, said the tradition "has become a holiday tradition for so many families" and expressed excitement about the upcoming season.
