Brooklyn Beckham has faced renewed criticism on social media following a video of him preparing spaghetti all’assassina, a traditional Italian dish from Bari. The 27-year-old aspiring chef faced backlash from followers who described the meal as ‘vile’ and ‘burnt pasta with jar sauce,’ with some users questioning his use of pre-made tomato sauce and prepared garlic instead of fresh ingredients.

In response to the comments, Beckham defended his technique, noting that the dish is intentionally meant to be charred. He addressed critics on his Instagram Story, stating, ‘For all the lovely comments about me always burning my food this pasta is suppose to be burnt sooooooo.’ He also responded to the negative feedback using a meme from the television series Friends.
