Brooklyn Beckham, Nicola Peltz land in Nice as French wildfires rage

Brooklyn Beckham and his wife Nicola Peltz arrived at Nice Côte d'Azur Airport for a romantic getaway despite a severe wildfire outbreak across France and Spain that has displaced more than 300,000 people. Witnesses said Beckham appeared nervous while Peltz seemed relaxed as they were recognised by other travellers in the arrivals hall.

Their visit coincides with interior minister Laurent Nûnez warning that the blaze is "moving erratically towards the Bordeaux metropolitan area" and with firefighting crews battling wind‑driven flames. European neighbours, including Italy, Greece, the Netherlands and Portugal, have deployed water‑dropping aircraft to assist. The couple’s parents, David and Victoria Beckham, were reported to be on a yacht off Ibiza at the time.
