Brooklyn Nets bolster roster with Julius Randle acquisition

Julius Randle has joined the Brooklyn Nets following a four-team trade, marking a new chapter for the 31-year-old forward who previously played in New York for the Knicks. Randle expressed high praise for the organization, describing it as a “first-class” environment that supports both player development and community connection.

The Nets are currently in a rebuilding phase, focusing on a young core that includes Michael Porter Jr. and Egor Demin. Porter Jr. has expressed optimism regarding the team's trajectory, suggesting they could win at least 50 games. Additionally, the team selected Mikel Brown Jr. with the No. 6 pick in the recent draft.

For the 2026-2027 season, Nets broadcasts will be available through a variety of platforms. Local coverage in the New York area will be provided by the YES Network and The Gotham Sports App, while national games will air on ABC, ESPN, and NBC. Streaming options include Amazon Prime Video and Peacock Premium.
