Brooklyn Nets sign and waive Isaiah Wong and Dwight Murray Jr
The Brooklyn Nets have signed and subsequently waived guards Isaiah Wong and Dwight Murray Jr. The moves follow recent trades by the organization to acquire the rights to both players.
The transactions are part of a common NBA strategy to secure G League rights. By signing Exhibit 10 contracts, the players are positioned to join the Long Island Nets, the Brooklyn affiliate. This arrangement allows them to earn potential bonuses of up to $91,000 in addition to their G League salaries if they remain with the affiliate for at least 60 days.
Isaiah Wong, a former 55th overall pick in the 2023 NBA draft, brings experience from stints with the Indiana Pacers, Charlotte Hornets, and Utah Jazz, as well as international play in Spain and Lithuania. Dwight Murray Jr. has primarily competed in the G League and recently appeared in Summer League games for Brooklyn.
