Brooklyn Public Library opens new craft supply lending service

The Brooklyn Public Library has launched a new Craft Supply Library to make creative tools and materials more accessible to New Yorkers. The initiative aims to support individuals interested in analog hobbies who may lack the funds or space to purchase their own equipment.

Cardholders with an adult library card can borrow up to three craft kits and two craft tools at a time. Available items include button makers, screen-printing kits, book-binding kits, and wood-burning pens. Tools can be borrowed for up to one week, while kits are available for three weeks. The service is free, and items can be reserved through the library’s online catalog.
