Brooks Brothers and Needles announce first collaborative collection

Brooks Brothers and Needles, the brand led by Nepenthes founder Keizo Shimizu, have announced their first collaborative fashion collection. The partnership merges American traditional heritage with Needles’ unique, playful design sensibilities.

The collection features a modern, loose-fit reconstruction of classic items, including sport coats, trousers, button-down shirts, two types of sweaters, ties, and loafers. Notable designs include a sport coat featuring both the Brooks Brothers ‘Golden Fleece’ and the Needles ‘Papillon’ motifs, as well as loafers utilizing Horween shell cordovan and Vibram soles.

Pre-sales are scheduled to begin on September 2 at select locations including Brooks Brothers Shinjuku Isetan, Umeda Hankyu, and official online stores, as well as Nepenthes retail and online shops. A wider release will follow on September 9 at Brooks Brothers Omotesando, Marunouchi, Yokohama Sogo, Kyoto Isetan, and Tokyo Hankyu.
