Brooks Koepka joins TGL expansion team Motor City Golf Club

Five-time major champion Brooks Koepka has been confirmed as the first player selected for Motor City Golf Club, the inaugural expansion franchise in the TGL indoor golf league. The team is set to debut in 2027 during the league’s third season, marking the seventh franchise for the organization founded by Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy, and Mike McCarley.

Koepka’s move comes following his return to the PGA Tour via the Returning Member Program. While his current PGA Tour status involves certain restrictions regarding signature event eligibility and the FedEx Cup bonus program, TGL offers a different competitive platform. Koepka has previously shown interest in the league, having invested in the athlete fund Locker Room, which backed TMRW Sports.
