Brooks Macdonald reports net inflow turnaround in FY26

Brooks Macdonald has reported a significant turnaround in its financial year ending June 30, 2026, recording net inflows of £226m. This represents a swing of over £600m compared to the £396m in net outflows reported in FY25. CEO Andrea Montague expressed confidence in the firm’s medium-term target of 5% annualized net flow growth, citing three consecutive quarters of positive inflows and the strongest quarterly performance in three years during the final quarter.

The firm’s total funds under management reached £19.3bn, up from £16.5bn the previous year. The professional and managed portfolio service segment saw a 35% year-on-year increase, reaching £8bn.

Separately, M&G reported its best first-half result since its 2019 listing, with adjusted operating profit rising 15% to £435m for the first half of 2026. This growth was supported by £2.4bn in net inflows from open business and an increase in assets under management and administration to £387bn.
