Brooks Run The Bridge sets record participation in ninth edition

The ninth edition of the Brooks Run The Bridge took place this Sunday, marking the largest version of the event in its history. The race saw a record participation of 8,567 runners representing 21 countries and 24 Brazilian states, plus the Federal District.

The competition featured routes of 5K, 10K, 15K, and 30K, starting at the Ponte Estaiada and passing through the Marginal Pinheiros expressway. The 2026 edition recorded a 9.4% increase in participation compared to 2025. The athlete demographic consisted of 47% female and 53% male participants.

In the 30K category, Michael Passos and Marina Richwin emerged as the winners with times of 1h43min55s and 1h57min07s, respectively. Passos noted the race served as a strategic test for his upcoming marathon in Berlin, while Richwin used the event to prepare for the Valencia marathon.
